Lucinda Maunder
Lucinda Maunder is a physiotherapist with more than 20 years’ experience treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
She has the qualification of B.App.Sc.Physiotherapy from Cumberland College of Health Sciences; Sydney University NSW and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Lucinda has a keen interest in Biomechanics and its relationship to injuries, rehabilitation and return to activity, sport and or work. She has completed extra training in Lower Limb Biomechanics, Gait Analysis, Orthotic Prescription and Fabrication. This differentiates the Holistic approach to treatment that Armidale Physio provides.
Lucinda has a vast and varied experience as a private practitioner. She has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of health practitioners including physiotherapists and medical specialists in city, regional and rural locations. This in combination with her extensive continuing education has contributed to her unique treatment style and understanding of health and fitness challenges confronting people through various life stages.
As a result of her clinical work, in combination with having her own children and coaching children’s sport, she has developed a particular interest in adolescent growth and development and how this impacts the injuries/ problems that we see in this age group. She understands how important the correct treatment of injuries/pain is in these phases in the prevention of long term problems.
